Moving...I think.

I've been playing more with WordPress (and took a course on it), and I've started setting up a site with hosting. So the current plan is to move the blog. You guys shouldn't notice much difference since the url won't change, but you'll probably have to join at the new site to get automatic updates.

I'm working to get everything moved and setup before the big change, to try and make it as seamless as possible. Nobody has left an opinion on the matter, but I think moving to a hosted site will ultimately give me more freedom with the format, style, and overall direction of the blog.

To move or not to move?

Sorry that it has been awhile since my last entry. I got laid off a few months ago, and things have been a mess. I'm currently still jobless, but I have a few prospects.

I've been thinking about changing the blog to a WordPress site. Self hosted, not on wordpress.com. There a pros and cons to doing either one. Like losing the ease that Blogger integrates with the rest of Google, but gaining more control of my site, and content.

I thought I'd see what you guys think. I know I don't have a lot of readers currently, and ya'll are usually pretty quiet when it comes to commenting. Have any of you tried hosting your own? How'd it go?

After I get the move figured out, I have a writing schedule planned.
